Claude for Marketers: 7 Workflows That Ship

Claude is the strongest general model available for marketing work that actually ships — ad copy, landing pages, email sequences, SEO briefs, and repurposing — because it holds a brief, respects structure, and returns finished documents instead of a wall of options to sift through. This guide is seven specific workflows with copy-paste prompt templates, built for non-technical marketers who want output on the screen, not another tool to learn.
Every prompt below works in the Claude app on any paid plan. If you are still deciding on a plan, our Claude pricing guide breaks down free vs Pro vs Max.
Why Claude for marketing specifically
Claude's strengths line up almost exactly with what marketing work demands: it follows a structured brief, keeps a consistent voice across a batch, and produces a clean, ready-to-use artifact rather than three hedged variations. The difference in practice is that you stop editing AI mush back into something usable and start shipping the first output with minor tweaks. For a wider view of how teams use it, see our guide on Claude for business.
1. Ad copy that matches the angle, not the average
The mistake most people make is asking for "10 Facebook ad headlines." You get ten bland averages. Give Claude the angle, the awareness stage, and the format, and it writes ads you would actually run.
You are a direct-response copywriter. Write 5 Meta ad variations. Product: [what you sell, one sentence] Audience: [who + their #1 pain] Angle: [e.g. "the tool they already pay for is 5% of what it does"] Awareness: [problem-aware / solution-aware / product-aware] For each: a scroll-stopping first line (no question openers), 3-4 sentences of body, and one clear CTA. Match the angle — do not average across all five. No emojis, no hashtags.
2. Landing pages as a finished artifact
Ask Claude to build the page as an artifact and you get a structured, previewable draft — hero, benefits, proof, FAQ, CTA — you can tweak in plain English instead of briefing a designer for a v1.
Create a landing page as an artifact for [offer]. Audience: [who]. Primary CTA: [action]. Sections: hero (headline + subhead + CTA), 3 outcome blocks, social proof slot, objection-handling FAQ (6 Qs), closing CTA. Voice: [2-3 adjectives]. Return the page, then list the 3 headline options you considered and why you picked the one you did.

The Claude Vault has the marketer's section pre-built — 35+ recipes for ads, landing pages, email, and SEO, each producing a finished deliverable. 550+ recipes total, sorted by your job.
See the Vault3. Email sequences with one job per email
The best welcome and nurture sequences give each email a single job. Claude is good at holding that constraint across a batch so the sequence reads like one person wrote it.
Write a 5-email welcome sequence. Signed up for: [lead magnet]. We sell: [offer + price]. Voice: [description]. One job per email: deliver, reframe the biggest mistake, tell a transformation story, handle the #1 objection, direct offer. Each email: subject + alternate, preview text, 120-200 word body, one CTA. Write to one person.
4. SEO briefs your writer can execute
Claude turns a target keyword into a brief a freelancer can execute without a back-and-forth: intent, angle, outline, entities to cover, and the questions the page must answer.
5. Repurposing one asset into a week of content
Paste a blog post, transcript, or webinar and Claude will produce channel-native pieces — a LinkedIn post, an X thread, a newsletter section — each shaped for the platform, not copy-pasted across them. Our Claude for content creation guide goes deeper on this.
6. Competitor and voice-of-customer mining
Feed Claude a pile of reviews or support messages and ask it to cluster the language customers actually use. Those exact phrases become your highest-converting ad and page copy.
7. Analytics summaries in plain English
Paste an export and ask for the three things that changed, why they might have changed, and what to test next. You get a readable summary instead of a spreadsheet stare-down.
